Returns/Modifications Policy

  1. Purchasing from 2ASD
    1. All payments are processed immediately upon placement of order.
    2. It is the responsibility of the customer to know and be in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting or using a firearm in the locality in which the customer resides.
    3. It is the responsibility of the customer to know and be in compliance with all applicable federal, state, local laws and limitations related to the purchase of magazines and ammunition in the locality in which the customer resides.
    4. All dealer sales and private party transfer sales are final.
      1. If the receiving party fails the DROS, 2ASD will make two attempts to contact the selling party to make them aware of the situation, however assumes no liability for the terms agreed to between buyer and seller.
      2. If the seller cannot be reached within 30 days, the items become property of 2ASD.
  2. Order Cancellation Policy
    1. Orders placed with 2A Self Defense may be cancelled by the customer prior to the item having shipped.
    2. All cancellation requests must be made by either calling 2ASD or filling out the online cancellation request form located at http://www.2asd.biz under the “Contact Us” dropdown menu.
    3. You MUST provide the order # from your receipt when contacting 2ASD via phone or online form.
    4. If the item/package has shipped, the order may not be cancelled and the customer must follow all rules applicable to returns.
    5. Please note that the return of the item/package will be made at the customer’s expense.
    6. Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.
  3. Return Policies
    1. Firearms & Ammunition
      1. All sales of firearms, loaded ammunition and clothing are FINAL, and returns are NOT ACCEPTED.
      2. Once a firearm is transferred to a customer’s name, 2A Self Defense will not accept a return or exchange under any circumstance.
      3. If a defect is discovered upon receipt of the item PRIOR to transfer of ownership (DROS), 2ASD will work with our suppliers to have the item replaced at no additional charge to the customer.
      4. If the customer discovers a defect after shipment and transfer of ownership (DROS), the customer must contact the firearm manufacturer directly for replacement or repair.
    2. All Other Purchases:
      1. Return shipping is solely the responsibility of the customer.
      2. If the purchased item(s) is defective or damaged upon receipt, or if the customer is not satisfied with a purchased item(s) and wishes to return it for a refund or replacement, the customer may return the item(s) to 2A Self Defense WITHIN 30 DAYS of the date of receipt of delivery of the purchased item.
      3. If the customer discovers a defect in a SCOPE, the customer must contact the manufacturer directly for replacement or repair.
    3. All returns MUST INCLUDE a completed Return Merchandise Form with the returned item in order for 2A Self Defense to process the request, issue a refund, or replace the item.
      1. The Customer MUST call 2ASD to obtain an RMA number or have received a reply from the website Returns form with an RMA # BEFORE returning any item.
      2. REMINDER: All sales of firearms, loaded ammunition and clothing are FINAL, and returns are NOT ACCEPTED. No exceptions.
    4. All returned items must be in the same condition as when they were shipped by 2A Self Defense and must be returned in original packaging.
      1. The customer will be assessed a re-stocking fee up to 25% of the product sales price if the items are not returned in resalable condition, as determined in the discretion of 2A Self Defense.
      2. If the customer fails to include a Return Merchandise Form with the returned item(s), or if the Return Merchandise Form is incomplete, 2A Self Defense will NOT process a refund or replacement for the item(s).
    5. Changing/Amending Orders
      1. No changes or amendments to orders can take place once an order is placed and shipped by our distributors.
      2. If the order has not shipped, the order may be able to be cancelled and a new amended order generated.
    6. Shipping Times
      1. Due to the high seasonal/holiday order volume, shipping times will vary during the holidays.
      2. Non-holiday shipping is typically 5 days for your order to ship.
